Help regarding a new home for my Moluccan Cockatoo!?

I have a 15 year old Moluccan Cockatoo I’ve had since it was 2 days out of an egg. I really need to find him a new home and I’ve had a few people wanting him from “word of mouth” but for all the wrong reasons or I just don’t trust them to give him a good home. They either want him as a breeder or I believe they might resale him for profit. I just want to give him to someone that will provide a good and secure home. How do I go about this? Are there any organizations or places I can go through? Any suggestions or advice?

Find a Parrot rescue in your area. They will care for your cockatoo until a good “forever” home becomes available. I don’t know where you are so am providing the general website for a well known rescue. Best of luck.
