Best Pet Birds

What do you think i should do with my Quaker Parrot?

Ok.I am planning on getting a Quaker Parrot in may like the 15th or the 20th,well that is when i would like to get one.I have found a avian vet and she has baby quakers for sale and she said they would be ready to go to their new homes in may.My other bird died almost a year ago and i think it is a good time to get a new one,i have found quakers before but my mom said they weren’t young enough and that it had to be a female.So my mom hasn’t said i could have one but she didn’t say no either.I am not sure when i should ask her about the baby quaker,should i give her a week to decide? or tell her now? i was figuring a week before that way i could get a straight answer,instead of a maybe or well see,while i am waiting for time to pass.So what do you think i should do? or what would you do?

A word to the wise Jessica. Quaker can be very loud. Please re think getting one as their noise can wear thin very quickly. If you don’t mind their noise, then best of luck and congratulations.
